	Angra dos Reis Our rental site is located at Angra, in the center of the Costa Verde, into the Rio de Janeiro state. Itis one of the nicest place in the country, and the marina is very useful for al the sailors.

	Salvador de Bahia Salvador de Bahia, also called "Holy Savior of All Saints' Bay", counts 2,5 millions of inhabitants, it is the capitale city of the state, and it is also one of the most cultural cities in the country. People are very nice and , you can assist at each time of the day to a party in the middle of the street with music and dance.

Money

The local currency is the real, reais in plural, the exchange rate is : 1 € = 3,20 reais

Visa

Passports must be valid for at least six months from date of entry. Visas are required for tourists of many nationalities, including Australia, Canada and the USA; visas are generally granted for a period of 90 days, with one extension of up to 90 days possible.

Health

Some vaccines are strongly recommended if you go to Brazil, such as: tétanos, polio, diphteria (DT polio), hepatite B. Those for hepatite A and typhoïd are adviced. If you stay longer than one month, vaccines against rabies are recommended.

Pills against malaria are strongly recommended, specially in Brazil's more susceptible areas for malaria.

Electricity

In Salvador and Manaus, power is on 127 V, in Recife and Brasilia power is on 220 V, in the rest of the country, power is on 110 volts.

Climate

Most of the country has noticeable seasonal variations in rain, temperature and humidity, but only the south of Brazil has large seasonal changes. The Brazilian winter is from June to August, with the coldest southern states receiving average winter temperatures of between 13°C and 18°C (55°F and 64°F). In summer (December to February), Rio is hot and humid, with temperatures in the high 30°sC (80°sF) common; the rest of the year, temperatures usually hover around 25°C (77°F). The northeast coast gets as hot as Rio in the summer but tropical breezes make it less humid and stifling. In general, the Planalto Brasiliero is less hot and humid, and is prone to summer rainfalls. The Amazon Basin is the rainiest part of Brazil (the term 'rainforest' is a bit of a giveaway), and while it is humid, temperatures average a reasonable 27°C (80°F).

Conditions for renting a boat

If you want to rent a sailboat or a motorboat in thailand, you need a sailing licence or a boat licence.
